The House Committee on Appropriations reported out both the House Committee Substitute for SB1 (General Appropriations Bill) and the Committee Substitute for HB2 (Supplemental Appropriations Bill). The use of the Economic Stabilization Fund was shifted out of HB2 and used, instead, in the Committee Substitute for SB1. The House Appropriations Committee met to hear invited testimony for HB1: General Appropriations Bill; and HB2: relating to making supplemental appropriations and giving direction and adjustment authority regarding appropriations. The Chair laid out a committee substitute to SB1 which comprises all the budget items the work groups have developed.
