Funding for the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) for the 2018–19 biennium totals &73.2 billion in the Senate and $73.0 billion in All Funds in the House. General Revenue Funds and General Revenue–Dedicated Funds total $30.2 billion in the Senate and $30.1 billion in the House. In both houses, the increase in funding is primarily related to the Medicaid program and programs transferring from the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to HHSC pursuant to Senate Bill 200, Eighty-fourth Legislature, 2015.
